Comment: Being someone who is obsessed with 90's gang culture in Los Angeles and a huge fan of G-Funk, gangsta rap music of the 90's, I was more than ecstatic when I heard about this game. As if my expectations weren't already high enough, this game literally look my expectations, completed them, and rose far above what I could've expected.
That being said, this is the best video game of all time in my opinion. You play as Carl Johnson, a gangbanger caught up in the gang life once is mother his murdered, his friends and family fall apart, and everything else is going to shambles. You travel on a huge terrain (biggest terrain of any game I've played) from Los Santos (Los Angeles), the Badlands (the country side), San Fierro (San Francisco), the Desert (self explanatory), and Las Venturas (Las Vegas) earning respect, gaining control, and working with other crime leaders/representatives to save yourself and your loved ones.
The auto aim is nearly flawless for the most part, the customization adds a whole new level to the GTA series (making your personal CJ look however you want with hairstyles, clothes, accessories, tats, etc) including customizing your own cars and adding neat little side triggers (hydraulics anyone?). The main story of the game is completely addicting with fabulous voice acting (Samuel Jackson come on now this is top notch!) and great twists that will have you glued to your PS2 until you have finally gotten the justification you need to end the story.
The game also has side missions that are not required for the main storyline such as taking over gang territory from rivals, different schools for vehicles (flying school is mandatory though), certain vehicles have mini missions, robbing a Casino in an Ocean 11's type heist, robbing houses, entering races, etc. I've had this game for years and there is still TONS of things I have not completed yet and hope to finish in the future, if not I'll just start it over and play the storyline through once again. This game is so good I can do that and not be bored.
The only huge downfall of the game is glitches, which can ruin your game if you are not careful. I suggest reading up on them to learn how to avoid them because the smallest thing can corrupt your game, but if you good at avoiding cheats and things, you should be fine. It's mostly because this game crams so much on the old gen systems, it was bound to have a few errors here and there. Also, graphics are the only ahhh moment of the normal gameplay since they are a little cartoony (most GTA games except IV have that feel to them which I don't mind, but some might), but overlooking that this game is flawless. A must have for any real gamer who loves urban settings, 3rd person shooters, comic relief, action, and great storytelling. I wish I hadn't beaten it sometimes because there is no other game that will ever compare to this masterpiece!!! It's worth every penny!

Comment: I am disappointed in this particular order, its my fault that I didn't do my homework first about the video game ratings for kids. I ordered it for a neighbor child and was surprised at the content, so I had to order him something else more appropriate for preteens. I do not recommend any game of this nature for young children. I am having a little trouble getting rid of it, because I am told I bought an old version of it. I know nothing about these games, the company that shipped it hasn't returned my call yet, and no one answers the phone there (Kamco). Buyer beware of hard to return items, Amazon has an excellent return policy. I just wished they were the ones to send it.
