Summary: Haven't been this impressed by a keyboard in eons!

Comment: Hello, this is actually the first review I've cared to write on Amazon, but I thought this keyboard was a really great product and Saitek should be praised because of it's success with this item.
First of all the response of the keys are very mechanical and provide a nice click when you hit them, I'm trying on it right now. I'm a touch typist and I can really feel the difference from the mushy rubbery keyboard I was using previously, that keyboard wasn't even full sized and for a desktop, it was odd.
They red lights look very good, especially paired with other items that have a red glow, they also spice up your desktop but not enough to make it flashy.
From what I can see I can press plenty of keys at once and that happens to help in certain gaming situations. Overall a really fun and great product, with less than 12 hours of experience I think that it will last me much longer than the previous one and it looks great too, so what a bonus!

Comment: This product is ok, but not what i was expecting. It lights the keyboard but the keys are not clear and crisp to see as i had hoped. I still need proper lighting to see the keyboard.
Summary: Appropriately priced and functions well.

Comment: This keyboard fits the bill and works as expected, the emphasis being on the lighting. The dimming feature and on-board volume control is a plus. I do not have a personal preference for the feel you get when you hit a key, so in that aspect I am content. I must, however, agree with a few other posters about having difficulty recognizing many keys bearing more than two characters. I also believe the feet that prop the keyboard up are adequate, but lack the height that is necessary for most people to be able to type at a comfortable level.
Above thoughts considered, a decent value for a backlit keyboard.
