Summary: Yeah, it makes the cut... no pun intended.

Comment: If you've played the first one and liked it, you'll love this one. It's got pretty much the same controls, so no learning curve which is great. It does have lots more cutting, gutting and blasting than the first though, so you've got plenty to look forward to.
Gears 2, also has better content controls. You can turn the strong language off, without having to get rid of all the gore and glory that comes with cutting down a locust with your chainsaw. This game deserves every bit of its M rating. It's also a better shooter than any of the Halo games, and I love Halo... just thought I'd add that.

Comment: GOW2 took everything that was good about the first one and made it great. The campaign has an awesome story that grabs a hold and doesn't let go. The action in this game is intense and unyielding. I will say that after you beet the campaign, make sure you sit through the credits, there is a little thing at the very end that may set up a 3rd game, it is a great twist. The inclusion of the new multi-player mode Hoard is alot of fun to play, and at times may seam simply impossible to get past wave after wave. The only problem I have ever had is that the multi-player sometimes takes a long time to find people to play and then will occasionally drop a game in the middle because of networking problems. this is only occasionally though. Overall a must have game and contender for Game of the Year.

Comment: It's like the original. Pretty fun, really brutal. Not recommended for kids.
The limited edition version is awesome, with a nice metal case and a picture book. I haven't watched the DVD yet but it's probably pretty cool.
The picture of Dom and his wife (or girlfriend?) is a nice touch.

Comment: Great game. I believe it lived up to the hype. Although I must say the end boss was way to easy. When You beat the game be sure and watch all the credits because there is an audio teaser at the end.

Comment: Gears 2 is a great game i love playing this online with my friends and campaign wasn't that hard just left me wanting more if you loved gears 1 you will love gears 2 i would say buy if you want a game you can play with your friends over and over there is co-op for campaign and some of my friends can't rank up on multiplayer great fun for hours lots of gore and lots of foul language i say buy NOW!
